Hello! I was wondering if you received an interview date yet for the Ankara Embassy? We are currently at the NVC stage and trying to get an idea how long the next steps will take. Thank you!

Hello. We have not received it yet. I’ve been trying to figure out when as well without any luck. Good luck to you in this VERY long journey!

If you don't mind me asking, is your spouse a citizen of Turkey or a resident? I read on a few sites that could affect how quickly you get an interview in Ankara but I'm not sure how accurate that is though.
Thank you and good luck to you as well! I hope receive an interview date soon:)

He’s a citizen. Do you know if that makes it faster or slower?
Sunshine22 on 2022-09-07 said:
Faster! Based on what I read it doesn't take too long for citizens to get an interview. Non-citizens, longer waiting time.

That’s wonderful news. I hope we both get our interview very soon. It’s been so hard waiting this long.

Thank you! Hope yours will be too soon.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
