Hello! We have similar timelines. I'm sorry to hear about your RFE. I hope you can get the NOA2 soon. I am also still waiting.

Hopefully we all get that NOA2 soon.
I got my RFE in the mail maybe 4 days after seeing it online. I paid the express and I was told to send it to the California office instead of Texas, which is where I had to send it before. Hopefully that speeds things up.

Thanks for your reply! Did you see it online using the case tracker and entering your receipt number from NOA1? That's what I'm using to check when the NOA2 will be sent.

No problem, we're all on the same team! But yes, that is what I use. I got the email for RFE late, and never got the NOA1 email so I just check everyday at lunch time, then again at 5pm wherever the service center is.

Got it, thanks again! It's great to hear from real people going through the same thing and also with a Japanese fiance. Rooting for you guys too! ãŠäº’ã„ã«é ‘張りã¾ã—ょã†ï¼

Have you got your NOA2 yet?

What was your RFE for? I’m nervous that I will get one…

My RFE was more evidence we were in a legitimate relationship. So I sent pics/proof beyond the last 2 years of us together.
They also needed MY birth-abroad certificate that I didn't include in the original packet.
Lunchbox on 2022-03-25 said:
They also wanted a new passport photo of me. Apparently the one I sent wasn't acceptable so I went and had one done at a CVS.

Not yet 😠next week will be a full year since sending out packet

Wow
I would contact them
It's definitely outside the normal wait time.
If they don't do anything, you can call your senator too.
That's what I did. They started tracking my case and if it took a week longer they would have filed an inquiry.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
