H! I'm a US citizen living overseas for 3 years, then met my wife and lived together for an additional 8 years before desired to marry and move back to the US. There is a large age gap between us, and that usually raises a red flag. I applied at the consulate in May 2018 and 5 months later received my wife's CR-1visa. We entered the USA in November 2018. Two years later, on 09/2020 filed the form I-751 to remove conditions. Total silence, and then on 07/2021 I received a biometrics appointment. On 09/2021 filed online the form N-400 for citizenship, plus uploaded all the required documents. The same day received a note for biometrics reuse. Hopefully, in a few months, an interview will complete our jurney.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
