Event Description

Embassy Review : The embassy in Abu Dhabi was quite pleasant. Everyone was polite. I would get there as early as you can as everyone has the same appointment time and you line up outside and wait to get in. So the sooner you get there the sonner your papers start getting processed. They have a shaded area to sit in line and up towards the front they do have fans which can help quite a bit when the heat is bad. I did accompany my fiance for his interview and was allowed to take part in the whole process. We had to check our bags at a security station but if you had a reason for keeping a certain bag they seemed to listen. All the interviewers were quite polite. We did have to wait a long time before we got our decision. Granted we were one of the last people there but we had been there from 7am to almost 3pm. We were starving. They do have a vending machine that only takes dirhams, so bring dirhams!
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
