Hello, did you do a K-3, physical submission of I-129F as well as your I-130 application? Or an expedite? Thanks!

Hello, based on your timeline, was your case documentarily qualified in November 2021? Did you wait 15 months for your appointment? Our case was just qualified on Dec. 9th, 2022. We have been trying to find a timeline of when we can expect to receive notice of an appointment.

Hi! Yes, we were documentary qualified in Nov 2021, we received our appointment email last week. Interview appointment in Feb 2023 making it a 15 month wait from DQ date. They are currently sending interview appointment emails to those with DQ Dec 2021, so you have about a 13 month wait for your interview. However they are working incredibly fast at the moment, so it can be sooner. I suggest joining groups on Facebook for more updates from those in the same progress.

Good luck on your interview!! We just got DQ'd a couple days. I seriously can't believe the wait for an interview is over a year. Unacceptable. Why aren't they taking people in Mexico city?

Thank you!! Yes it’s about a 15 month wait rn, totally crazy. I asked myself that same exact question, I would definitely speed things up.

Congrats on being approved! How was the interview process?

Thank you! The interview process was surprisingly simple and fast. At first interview he was only asked for his DS-260 confirmation, passport, birth certificate, our marriage certificate, and his police record. He was asked to verify my name and how long we had been married and was told to keep the documents together for the next appointment (he was in the consulate for about 50mins.) At the second interview, he was in the consulate for about 3.5 hours, he said it was mostly sitting and waiting to be called. When with the official, he was only asked for my birth certificate and asked to verify my name, if any crimes, my address, and if he has ever been in the US. My husband shared the interview lasted about 5mins. Hope this helps! Good luck!!
