Comments : U.S. interest section in havana received visa papers from NVC on the Nov 26. They gave us the option to either pick up the forms at the U.S. Interest Section or to download them from the internet, and they gave me a phone number to call to set up a interview date. The lady i spoke to was very nice and helpful.

Package 3 cannot be sent by mail in Cuba. I had to set up an appointment to pick up Package 3 at the U.S. interest section. Apparently, there are armed guards that call out names of people to enter the U.S. interest section to pick up package. So 12-17 is the day...

Received RFE for Medical Exam. The Doctor mailed in a I-693 that had a revised date that was not accepted by USCIS. I'm a little disappointed that i missed that and paid for their services (you would think that they will check for the latest forms before filling them out). Mailed the RFE on 5/11/09, hopefully we get a approval soon.
Greeen Card received 07/07/09, finally done for now.

Consulate Review: Switzerland
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 9, 2008
Embassy Review : Like everything in Cuba, there are long lines to wait. But the interview was very easy because i was there and had all forms fill out and much evidence of our relationship. I recommend that both be at the interview.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
