I handed my passport and POE immediately when I reached immigration desk.
Very swift process, the officer was very friendly, quick and funny.
Question:
- what do you do for living? What is the company? What is the work about?
- are you still planning to work for that company?
- how long you lived in the last country?
- what do your fiance do for living?
The whole discussion is about 5 minutes while standing at the immigration office, then my passport is stamped and he wishes me a very great marriage and 'good luck in America'.
He was making jokes here and there so I was not nervous at all. |

We got the interview with a very nice IO, most of the questions were basic questions directed to both of us. It went well and smoothly, besides that I forgot about 1 thing that she asked me. We were questioned together in the same room for about 1 hour and presented our evidence. The IO did not give a decision on the spot yet we received the approval status by looking up on our USCIS account 1 day after the interview. |

Very fast and simple process. The staffs are nice and friendly. Questions were simple, to the point, and none of them are intimidating. I thought it was gonna be very scary but it was really the opposite. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
