Embassy Review : Hello everybody!
I had my interview on 24 july, i can say was a pleasant experience.
The day before the interview i got my medical exam at the Bio-medica international,They did some blood tests,x-ray checked my weight and height, my eyes and in the end a general doctor checked me cos he was the one thats works with the embassy.ohh and also i got a cancer vaccin, that is for the girls not older than 26.
Well the next day i had my interview, i got there at 12, but my appoiment was at 1 pm, so i waited 1 hour, until one guy came out from there with a list and called peoples name, then we came in, they checked us worse than in an airoport lol. Then u give yr passport to the counter 5 or 6(depends)and wait again to be called,in the mean while they called me to take my fingerprints at the counter 1, then again i sat down ,i waited around 1h and 30 min, then i was called by the US Consul ,she said to rise my right hand and to swear im telling the truth blah blah and she began her questions:
How did u meet?
Where did u meet?
When did u meet?
When was the first time he came to see u?
How many times he came to your country?
Did u meet his family?
When did he propose u?
do u have a ring?
Where is he living?
Does he have a big house?
What job he has?
Was he married?
Dows he have kids?
Then looked at the pics and asked whos in the pictures, and if those are my parents? and where is this picture taken... and so on..Then she asked me to sit down until they print my visa..WOO hoo.. then after some 20 min they called me again and gave me back all the documents they dont need, like proves of relationship... fiancee divorce paper..etc and told me to wait 1 hour for the visa, I waited like 40 min then somebody called me at another counter(was 4 pm) and handed me the passport and a big yellow envelope to be open at the port of entry in the United Staes , ..and said good luck!
Thats was my whole experience.I got the visa same day.The interview was in english, but van be in romanian too.
Of course there were people that were refused, cos of the lack of proves and some other stuff like negative tax income. But u have everything in order u dont have to worry about anything. The bad thing is that they interview u in front of anothers and everybody is listening to u, but in general i liked it they treated me nice.
Well good luck to everybody!!!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
