My Visa was rejected due to a Police Clearance certificate from Russia only featuring my maiden name. I've left Russia in 2004 and never changed my surname with Internal Affairs. On the 29th I've sent an additional document from Russian authorities that confirms that the change of name with the Interior Ministry is only possible in Russia and will take 30 days and needs to be done in person. I've asked for an extreme hardship waiver on that basis. On the 5th of August, visa status was updated from Rejected to Administrative processing. Status changed to Issued on the 11th of August. Visa/passport received on the 13th of August. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-130 was approved in 183 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 334 days from your I-130 NOA1 date.
