Hey Barbara! Just now checking my timeline. It took me 389 days for the approval and I hope yours comes through soon. The NVC process looks to be taking about 2+ months just to get a case number sent.

We had to wait for the TB test to come back and that takes 9 weeks so we will be scheduling a new interview date for the 1st week of November.

Hello, I got stuck with the scam for the 9 plus 1 week tb test but I’m waiting for the embassy to issue the visa, why did you have to do two different interviews? Did they tell your fiance at the original interview when they gave him the 221g that he would need to do a 2nd interview and you had to be there? Or was it when the embassy received his results and decided to do a second interview and asked you be there? Thanks

@Árida It was after the 221G. They’ve done that to a lot of people in the D.R. I suggest going jointly so you won’t have to pay again and have to spend more money. They want to see the relationship firsthand.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
