Pretty easy experience. Officer at port of entry asked a couple questions and then I was on my way! Had to pay USD$8 for a trolley to carry all my luggage, so expensive 🫢 |

I wouldn’t say I was harassed, but the officer made me nervous because he was asking quite a few questions. But maybe that was because it was super early, I was last in line, and he’s just doing his job lol. All went well, just scary since it’s entirely up to them what your fate is. |

*NO INTERVIEW*
20th December 2022 Update:
I used "Ask Emma" to inquire about any updates on my case, as I had seen a lot of people find out their interview was waived. On the 16th of December 2022 an agent told me that my interview was waived and my case was sent to my local field office on the 22nd of November 2022. Felt dubious about this, but hopeful. So on the 19th of December 2022 I decided to "Ask Emma" again and see if a different agent tells me the same thing (without me telling them what the other agent said). This agent confirmed that it was with my local field office, however didn't mention that the interview was waived. I honestly don't mind about things not expediting, being waived, or whatever (although work permit would be nice), I just want to know that things are moving along. My local field office has a 17.5 month processing time right now, but hoping for a miracle!
December 21st 2022 I found out I had an Intent to Deny. Sent off response January 4th 2023, approved January 12th, card in hand January 25th!! |

Didn’t end up getting EAD because Green Card approved first.
20th December 2022 Update:
According to this website I should have my EAD by now, super bummed that I'm still waiting. I don't have SSN either so can't open a bank account, be added to the lease, get an ID. It's been so shit. I've also seen lots of people apply after me and get "Card Produced" the same fucking day as their biometrics appointment. Can't help but feel annoyed at these people, it really isn't fair. All my savings are gone, bills are expensive, we're in god damn California, inflation. I can't wait for this bullshit to be over. |
Processing Estimates/Stats : |
Based on timeline data, your EAD may be adjudicated between July 28, 2022 and August 8, 2022*.
If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline. |

No hope for this to approved in a timely manner.
Didn’t end up getting the AP because Green Card approved first! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
