First RFE notice was for our marriage certificate. For some reason our marriage certificate was not read correctly at the potomac service center and they came to the conclusion that we were not married yet. I sent a copy of our marriage certificate via registered snail mail in September. They finally reviewed again in December and they approved the I-130.
When I sent the marriage certificate copy via snail mail, I made sure to put little sticker arrows pointing to our marriage date and the officiant's signature. Hopefully that helped them read in the right area of the marriage certificate. |
