We sent multiple emails to consularcolombo@state.gov and ColomboIV@state.gov. They did not respond to any of our emails. We did a congressional inquiry and as soon as they received it, they called and gave the interview with 7 days notice only. Usually embassy give the appointment date one month earlier but in our case we only had 7 days to get everything done. Luckily we already had our police report and was able to get our medical done. It took us 9 weeks to receive an interview date. Interview went well, asked questions about the petitioner and the relationship. My advice to any K1 applicants in Colombo, Sri Lanka is to contact the congressman if the embassy keeps delaying your process. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 423 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 596 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.
