Comments : We applied to Nebraska for our k-1 when they were by far the slowest service center of the bunch. After applying at the end of July we finally wrote a letter to the service center manager around the middle of November asking for some kind of explanation why our application appeared to be lost in a black hole. We never got any official response but eventually our I-129F was approved on December 13th, 146 days after we mailed it out. We never received any RFEs or any other explanation as to why our application took so long.

No decision given, told decision would be mailed when papers had been looked over again ?? received an email from the USCIS on Jan 22nd to say that our AOS case had been approved. Comments : Attempted to get an Interim EAD on September 16th (92 days since NOA date) but was told that 90 day count starts from Biometrics date !! October 24th will be 90 days since Biometrics so I am hoping I hear something about my EAD well before then. Very frustrated with the lack of standard responses regarding the 90 day wait and the fact that no info is given about the count starting from biometrics on the USCIS website. I ended up contacting my local Governors office and their help was invaluable in getting the EAD situation resolved

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
