Hiya, I waited for my case to change to ready on the CEAC website. I then created an account on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/users/sign_in this is what our lawyer advised us to do. I didn't wait for the letter to come through the post as the post in my area has major delays and we have already waited a really long time to be together. When I went for the medical and interview they didn't even ask me for the letter from the embassy, they just asked me for the interview confirmation which was emailed to me.
In terms of interviews and medical we just so happened to get appointments for people who had cancelled.
What really helped was that we got everything ready in August when we realised that the embassy was really moving, this allowed us to go ahead and book appointments right away.
Hope this helps. :-)

Hello, my fiance and I are in the same boat as you as the consulate received our application around the same day as you in September. We were wondering if you waited for the interview invitation in order to schedule an interview or if you were able to schedule your interview after creating an account on the https://ais.usvisa-info.... website?

Hello, I didn't wait for the invitation to schedule the interview, with the issues with post in the UK (at one point we had no mail for over a week) I decided to just go ahead and book. Till this day the embassy invitation hasn't arrived and I am in the US with my fiancé now. When I went for my medical and interview the invitation was not requested, they only asked me for my interview confirmation.
I am working with a lawyer who advised that that if the system lets you set up an account and pay the fee then go ahead and schedule the interview. I used the same website you mentioned in your post and had no issues at all.

Hey there, thanks for your helpful response! We will follow in your footsteps and try the same. Do you have any advice regarding how to actually secure an interview appointment? Did you frequently refresh the page or check at certain times during the day/week?
We're also wondering if the visa decision was clear during your interview or not. Thank you very much!

You are welcome. I would say check the site daily at different times to see if they have any appointment slots. I was fortunate to find an appointment available when I set up my account online. The embassy appear to release interview slots on Tuesdays and Thursdays but of course people cancel appointments all the time so checking regularly is encouraged as you might be able to get an earlier appointment. I would say check the site regularly for slots (every couples of hours or so if you can), I know they had appointments up until the end of October last week, but this changes all the time.
The interview visa decision was very clear on the day, I was informed that I was approved pending my medical results. I was given a green form clearly explaining this to me. My medical results were sent to the embassy the following Monday( interview was on a Wednesday, medical the previous Saturday) after my interview and my visa was issued 2 days later.

Your information is the most detailed I've been able to obtain anywhere. We are so grateful! We logged on and were able to find an interview appt for Oct 7, but did not confirm as we are awaiting the police certificate requested from the ACPO Criminal Records Office (ACRO) and we need to schedule the earliest medical appt we can get. Was scheduling the medical appointment as easy as calling in and waiting on hold until you could reach somebody?

Thank you for your kinds words. I am happy to help. This process has some bumps and turns and I know what it’s like looking for information online or in different Facebook groups.
The police certificate should come through very quickly. So you should be able to get an appointment very soon.
In terms of the medical I gave them a call and they gave me the earliest appointment available, I didn’t have to wait long to get through to someone when I called. They were very lovely on the phone and sent an email with what I needed to bring with me on the day. When you make the booking you will need the number starting LND. After I made the appointment I did call them back and asked to be put on the wait list in case some cancelled. They called me back the same day and had something for the following day. They are considerate and helpful.

Hi! Did you have to fill out any of the Packet 3/4 information that is on the timelines here at VJ?
Supper exciting to see your timeline and that the London embassy is processing visas again
MK1 on 2021-10-12 said:
Hiya, it let me proceed without filling it out. I also wasn't sure what the packet 3 and packet 4 information was actually asking for so I just went on ahead and left on blank.

Hey! We are from Michigan also. We applied for AOS January 24 and had biometrics January 28. We are so hoping to be able to travel in December but still no updates. Did you ever ask for updates or were you just approved? Thanks!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
