Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Border officer was very friendly. Asked for packet we were given from K1 interview. We gave it to him and he opened it and sent us on our way. Very easy. We were concerned as we brought local foods (dried veggies, homemade peanut butter, even sesame seeds and peanuts for eating) and went through baggage inspection - they sent us on through after asking what was inside without even looking through our luggage. Overall a lot less stressful than we were expecting and super happy with the results. Now in USA!!!

POE Review: Boston
Event Description
Entry Date : 2021-10-13
Embassy Review : Very easy to navigate through this airport upon arrival - signs are very straight forward and hard to get lost. I (US Citizen) traveled with fiance (K1 visa holder) and they sent us both through the same customs line together which from what I remember was 'First Time Entries'. Border officer was very friendly.

Are you from Illinois or Wisconsin area? Was Chicago your field office or just where you mailed your paperwork to originally?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
