Embassy Review : MY fiance went to the embassy and had her interview, and is currently on "refused" status. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with the "fraud" department trying to show we have a relationship, and nothing has moved forward. Her interview was on July 22nd, I did the phone interview on August 22nd, and no action has been taken on our case since September 29th. I wasn't able to travel much due to my job being short, I am finally getting to fly down and see her next month after 25 months of not seeing her sue to work. We talk for hours a day, we email each other daily when I am at work, as my job doesn't allow me to have a phone at work. I have finally reached out to my congressman to try and see if they can help. I have been doing all I can to keep her safe. If this was fraud she would be sending me money, not me trying to help her to keep her safe.

I am tired and I don't know what to do next. Hopefully someone will, because when I offered more information they blew my off. Please let this nightmare end.....

Still waiting on approval, no longer showing "Refused" on the website, so I am hopeful, it has been a long hard road so far.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
