Port of Entry : CDN-USA Border
POE Date : 2005-07-04
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : No
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : The Officer was somewhat uncertain how to handle to Visa entry because of all the recent changes to the procedure - he even gave erroneous information on how to file the AOS & EAD documents. Otherwise it was a rather pleasant experience.

Comments : The interview was simple enough, the questions were mostly about how well wee knew each other and our families. We needed way less information for them than the letter said we did, as the agent had our file with all the paperwork we had previously filed. The agent even said that we are free to travel even internationally and return with no difficulty or AP.

Comments : Received a Yellow notice today (3/14/09) - Case File Review/Interview Document Check List.

We were surprised that the interview was at 1:20pm and then they had the oath ceremony at 4pm the same day! My wife had to rush from work to be there and I had the car... fortunately she made it with about 10 minutes to spare... It feels so awesome to finally be a citizen. I filed for my passport, my new SSN card and registered to vote all on Thursday the 7th!!

Embassy Review : The interview was awesome - everything was smooth as ice and only took a couple minutes once I was inside. The hardest part was waiting until the afternoon to get my passport back with my visa in it.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
