And also after I got the notification from the NVC that they are shipping my documents to the embassy , I just kept checking the CEAC website to check my updates and whne it says my cases was ready I went ahead and filled out the application on the visa.docs to pay for my visa fee and then book for my interview. But my fiancée is gonna pay for it on Monday then we can book the interview date.

Then it will take you through. But before that you need to fill out the DS 160 because you will need information on it to book the interview. You can book an interview before you partner get the paper work from the embassy. Then after that the application won’t let you go forward if you haven’t paid for the. visa fee. Once you get on the section on the visa fee it will prompt you put in recipt number from the visa fee payment in order to move on. So I will say get a head start on it and let him go pay for the fee at get bank and then you can book the interview

Now, there are no appointments available even into 2022. Looks like this is going to be a wait. God help us!!!!

Audrey, yeah you need packet 3 and 4 before the medical can be scheduled. It has a specific letter for the provider, so you can’t just schedule it yourself.
I’m hoping that they will send us interview dates because even into 2023 there are no available dates. So I can only surmise that they will send interview dates. Let’s just keep praying

When I went on the website on 10/31 to find an interview, there was one date on there which was today 11/3 at 9:30 am. It showed the calendar into 2022 at that time and there were not any available slots on any day in 2022. However I wrote the embassy and the response I got was that they periodically have appointments available so I should just keep checking the website.

I went on the website to sorta glance at it and also fill out the information till it got to the payment and it stopped me.. so that’s why I was able to tell you what was happening on that side of the form.. also for the packet it just literally had instructions about when to the Medicals and the embassy being ready to go ahead with our interview when we are ready. Also it had what the person needed to bring to the interview and all that… nothing too new you don’t know.

Mrs tagoe they had 23,30, 7 and 14 opened so that was it.. but Ab just let him walk in also please tell your partners not to trash the visa fee receipt number because a friend of mine told me they ask for it at the interview. If you don’t have it you have to go and come back. So if y’all people trashed it please let them go for duplicate before the DDay

Okay so for the medical what they asked my guy for wasn’t even the appointment notice, it was the email that NVC sent saying the case is being transferred to the embassy. He went to Holy Trinity and that was what they asked him for plus his passport.

His appointment was at 8am. He states he was interviewed by a gentleman.
Says the process was quick.
I literally just woke up to his “ I was approved†message. They gave him information on picking up his passport.

We crossed every t and dotted every i.i don't understand at all. This is not easy and 1 person get to say yes or no. I've been to Ghana 4x months at a time seeing him since 2019. I can't continue that life style. These people had no clue how hard this is. Something real is refused but plenty fakes had made it thru.

Because refused on ceac could mean they gave him instructions to submit additional stuff.

Please Hawa can you also send me the documents you used in preparing for the interview at romeolove10061@gmail.com? Although we used an immigration lawyer to help us file the petition, I've done almost everything that is required except for scheduling a date for my interview.
I've made payments, completed the DS160 form, and now facing the challenge of getting a date for my interview.
How long do I have to wait?

I called NVC for God knows how long, but it took me almost three weeks or something to get interview days from the time I got the email from NVC. You really have to stay on the website day n night checking to see if they open it., I had to check it everyday and when I checked it in the morning I had to let everyone know., so honestly stay on top of it..

What the others have said is true, you have to check the website and check it randomly too, try to check maybe morning, noon and night daily, so up to 3 times a day….but I’m sure they will add more dates soon. Just keep checking and praying.

You should go to DHL and pay the fee, when the status says issued on CEAC follow up with them, they will pick up your passport from the embassy and you will pick it up from the DHL office.
