Hi! We were not part of the Milligan Pomepo lawsuits. We applied in June of 2020 and things finally started moving for us in May 2021- we got our interview the same month.
I was just reading through a little bit of your profile and I'm so sorry you and your fiance have been waiting for so long. Especially considering you applied way before us, it seems very arbitrary and unfair. I wish you all the luck in the world!

Hi J , thank you so much for your quick reply.
i appreciate very much your empathy regarding my case.
i still have few questions if you don t mind , Did you booked your appointment via the official website after paying the MRV fee or Paris Pending contacted you directly ? since my MRV is valid until September 2022 i guess i am in the tube but it seems that the website needs a great refresh( i have this message saying '' no longer available , try again later etc.."
If Paris pending contacted you directly were you on the list that day ( was it a bypass compare the official entry mode wit the MRV valid booking calendar ?) regarding your appointment with no issues at all?
was the embassy in a real busy mood or seems under staffed ? i am aware that they proceed students visa which is Non immigrant so they are definitely open and that also they are proceeding other K1 since we were a Priority back in 2020.
thank you so much for sharing your experience with me, really looking for your answers.
sincerely

So it was kind of in an unusual way that things proceeded- nothing like what I read online of how the process normally goes.
I contacted NVC via their Public Inquiry Form, as it had been more than 60 days since our NOA2. I received a response from NVC on 4/13 saying the case was forwarded to Paris and that the US embassy would contact us when they were ready to process the petition.
We were contacted directly by the embassy via email (Paris IV Pending) on 4/28 saying our appointment had been scheduled for 5/11. So we were assigned a date & time which was already entered into the AIS Visa system when we logged into the website to pay the MRV fee. Also included in the email were specific instructions about paying the fee, completing DS-160, etc. I will say that we had to call the contractor of the AIS (MRV) website as we had some tech difficulties trying to link the fee we paid to the appointment. If you're receiving error messages from that site I would 100% recommend contacting them directly by phone (+33 1 82 88 29 57).
At the embassy we were the very last interview of the day so we saw everyone come and go. They did seem pretty busy and I'd say about half of the people were there for K1 visa interviews.
I wonder if your case has not somehow been lost in the system, as it seems incomprehensible to me that you were given priority in 2020 and have still not heard from the embassy.
I would contact NVC and let them know you are still waiting to hear from the embassy, and perhaps they can provide you with some answers.

Thank you o for your answer.
i already contacted the AIS many times by phone( Number you provided) and since they are recorded while speaking they can not be too specific only complaisant but they confirmed me that my status was active and that my MRV fee was paid and still valid for another year from now.
i do think my case was indeed drowned into the abyss right in the mist of the early pandemic mess with staff at Paris embassy.
thank you so for your answers and clarity in everything, i will let you know once i got my go as well.
be well and thanks again for being awesome.
sincerely
Guillaume
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
