HI, we have the same case as you I guess. I applied for my dad, he will have interview in UAE, but I am looking at your timeline and you still did not get an interview date? correct?

Hi, actually things happened so quickly that I couldn’t catch up to update my visa journey page …beside that I had a lot of stress to put things in order…I had all responsibilities… I am sure you understand… in addition, covid restrictions and PCR tests and… and… but all and all we are here in U.S now thank goodness… where are you from originally and where are you located at the moment?! Where is your dad location?!

Hi, and thanks for the reply. Congratulations. That's such a great news! My dad is coming from Iran, his interview will be in UAE, and I am based in Seattle, WA. I am originally from Iran, and a US citizen. I remember this timeline being quicker and faster for my mom, but it's taking too long for my dad! Any help is appreciated. He is alone in Iran and he needs care being in his late 60s.

Well, corona has reduced the speed of interviews significantly for sure , there might be other reasons adding to this…. Please let me know how can I be helpful…I could remember I was craving for every little information during the journey but not many Iranians were available/ willing to help… we can exchange emails instead of being here to keep the privacy …

Just messaged you my email. Thanks for your help.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
