On the CEAC website, the status was “Ready†from the day the case was received by the embassy until after the interview, only the date changed every time they touched the case. On 11/25 it changed to non immigrant visa, application received and after a few hours to approved. On 11/28 it changed to issued |

Embassy Review : |
I received on 10/21 packet 3 through email and was asked to send by registered mail the supporting documents. On 10/28 I received packet 4, again through email, with authorization to schedule my interview and I took the first available date, 11/15 at 08:30. I was able to schedule my medical exam for 11/04, it has to be done 7-10 days before the interview, to be able to receive the results in time. I picked up the sealed envelope with the medical the same day before the interview, around 08:15.
I got at the embassy at 08:30 with our 11 months old daughter. No issues going in with the stroller and the diaper bag with all the baby stuff. I was able to get in right away and was given a number. I was first called and asked for some more documents, and after a while I was called again for the interview. Short, just a few simple questions regarding our relationship. They said that I would receive the visa in about a week, but it took longer, probably because of thanksgiving. Total time spent at the embassy 1.5 hours.

Proof of relationship;
1. Our in-person, printed photos that we submitted didn’t have full names, location, AND date written on the backs. We resubmitted the photos with ALL of the requested data written on the backs.
2. Our flight boarding passes that we submitted didn’t have the year of travel printed on them. We resubmitted with additional evidence (dated airline receipts and confirmations).
Hope this helps!
Hello, I'm trying to assemble my AOS pkt and i was wondering if the Birth Certificate from the Ministry that you can get online is valid?
I think it should be valid and I translated mine myself
I’m not sure, as proof of citizenship, I think we sent a passport copy
And for the foreign birth certificate, we had a certified translation
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
