My husband attended his interview at the Cleveland, Ohio office. We arrived around 9:15 and his appointment was at 9:45. He was called back at 9:49, while I stayed in the waiting room. He returned at 10:01am with a smile and told me his case was recommended for approval and the oath ceremony will be scheduled.
As far as the interview, he said the man was really nice. He couldn't remember all the questions he was asked but he got 6/6 correct. One of the questions was "Who is the Chief Justice?"...luckily we practiced a lot before.
I was surprised how quickly the interview went. Overall, it was a great experience and we're excited to get the letter regarding the oath ceremony.
I received a notification on 12/9/22 that the Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for Dec 23. I also got a copy of the notification via the USCIS website.
UPDATE 12-23-22 Called building in Cleveland where Oath Ceremony will occur, but was told it was cancelled. I couldn't contact anyone at USCIS but went to the website and found a list of Field Offices that were closed due to weather, listing Cleveland. Took a screen shot to document. Will call Tuesday to see how to reschedule the Oath Ceremony.
Rescheduled for 1/20/23 |

Hello! My husband had his interview today. It lasted about 10 minutes and went really well. His case was recommended for approval and he was told he would get a letter regarding the oath ceremony soon. The app has already updated :)

What about your i751 interview?
It was approved without an interview and they just sent the card.. The NOA1 was April 2, 2021 and we got notice that it was approved Nov 4, 2022.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
