My fiancee (Jassi) spoke to very nice woman who asked her if she wanted to answer questions in English or Hindi. The questions she was asked (in no particular order):
1. When and how did we meet
2. When did I move to US
3. What did I do for living in US
4. Where did she live in India
5. What did she do for living in India
6. Where did I lived in US
7. Is this her first marriage
8. Is this my first marriage
9. Have you ever traveled outside of India
The whole interview took about 10 minutes. Jassi was told her application was approved and can pick up her passport/visa in couple of days in Delhi or pick up at Blue Dart courier office in Ludhiana,Punjab. She went in at 8:00am and called me to pick her up at embassy 10:30am. Overall, she said the whole experience was good and what nerviousness she had was more due to the waiting around than the interview.

Embassy Review : |
Arrived on American Airlines flight from Delhi at 6:00am. It was early and no other international flights had arrived. Immigration officer took my US passport and Jassi's Indian passport, I-94 form, and pkt (sealed and marked DO NOT OPEN-it contained all her documents we had submitted). Took electronic fingerprint of right and left index finger and her picture. Stamped and stapled the bottom portion of I-94 to visa page in her passport and told us her documents will be forwarded to Philadelphia offices. I asked when we would hear from them and he said he wasn't sure, maybe 1-2 months. He asked how long I was in India and stamped my passport. He gave us back our passports and said have a nice day. We picked up our luggage and headed to customs. The guys at the customs area checked our customs forms and passports, asked how long I was in India, did we pack our own luggage, etc... Gave back our passports and directed us towards the exit.
The plane touched down 6:05am and we were in the cab to my sisters house at 7:05am. Overall, very efficient and pretty painless. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
