Hi!
My NOA2 was Feb16 and got my NVC number on Feb22. My case is currently still at NVC.
I see your case has left NVC so, I was wondering if you requested for an expedite.
Thanks in Advance :)

Didn't expedite. I called the NVC a few times before getting the NVC case number to confirm where things were at, but nothing since then. I believe they send the case to the consulate soon after you get an NVC case number, providing that the consulate is ready to receive it. If it seems too long since an update, I'd give the NVC a call - my experience with them has been pretty good.

Thank you. I guess I'll give them a call next week.
Sorry, just another question, when did you fill out the DS160?
CDLK1 on 2021-04-02 said:
DS160 was filled after the consulate in Sydney received the I-129f from NVC. Interview date is set after that is complete.

Perfect! Thank you.
The consulate just sent me packet 3 today and I responded with the info and docs. So, hopefully i'll hear from them next week :D

Hi! My fiancée and I saw that you were able to expedite your embassy interview by 2ish weeks. If you don’t mind answering, how did you go about expediting the interview date? Are there any qualification criteria?
CDLK1 on 2021-04-27 said:
When given the initial interview date, the consulate gave a date by which you had to respond by (this was about 2 weeks before the originally scheduled interview date). I accepted the initial interview straight away, but right before the deadline in the email I asked the consulate again (via email) if there was any availability sooner due to cancellations or reschedules - and they gave me an interview 5 days later. No qualification criteria in this case either than being available and ready, and asking the question!

Congratulations on filing your AOS. Hope you hear back soon!
Do you have any recommended resources that you used to compile and gather documents for your AOS? Also, did you do it on your own or did you use a lawyer?
CDLK1 on 2021-06-19 said:
Thanks! Various resources for preparing the forms, mostly those available here on VisaJourney (see guides and forums). I also found a few guides on other websites that tend to offer immigration services. No lawyer, though I have spoken to a few friends who are lawyers. That said - a lawyer is a great idea if you have any concerns, to avoid RFEs. Good luck!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
