Guayaquil Consulate has a process of delivering documents on day of “interview†and telling you to come back the next day.
The wait time was about 2.5-3 hours, once it was finally her turn, they asked her what my name was and age, then they proceeded to have her tell them the circumstances of how we met and came to be a couple. The interviewer said “no further questions, your visa has been approvedâ€. Interview took 10 minutes the rest of the time was waiting. Glad to say this leg of the journey is at its end. Thanks for all the answers from everyone. And good luck to those still waiting! |

Timeline Comments: 7Good luck today! Would love to hear your review of the Consulate, my fiancé will be interviewing there soon!
Will let you know after the actual interview tomorrow! Thanks for the good luck wish!
Much appreciated! Sending all the positive vibes! ✨✨✨✨✨✨
Our experience can be found in the “comments†section! Good luck!
Thank you for sharing and a huge congrats on the approval! Can I ask were you there with her for the interview or did she go alone? Thanks again for sharing your experience, gives me so much hope! 🇺🇸ðŸ™ðŸ»âœ¨
Sadly I had to stay outside for the 3 hours 🥲
Ok so you were there in person, I've heard I should be there even though I can't go in, and I've also heard it doesn't matter. Did you feel safe waiting outside? I heard that city is pretty rough. Sorry for all the questions, thank you for taking the time to respond!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
