Hello there Has NVC transferred your case over to US Embassy in Ethiopia yet? I texted the Embassy about a week ago and they said they are have suspended the visa processing. This is what they replied to me: “ Thank you for your message. The Embassy website has the most up to date information. We hope to resume services, and will update our platforms accordingly when we do.” Please update us if the NVC transferee your case to the embassy. Thank you and wish you good luck!

Hello tadu, currently US embassy in addis ababa process emergency visa only. i heard they start IV last week two days a week. My advice is try expedite request if you have concrete evidence. I was send my expedite request based on financial hardship and emergency medical.

Thank you for your reply. I requested expedite back in November 2021, but the nvc said the US embassy in Ethiopia has suspended and they are unable to forward my request ☹️☹️! I don’t even know why they suspended in the first place. So really sad😢
