Comments : Had medical in London on 20/01/2022 and interview at the London Embassy 26/01/2022. Was told at the time of interview that everything was approved, they were just waiting on my medical report, and once they received that, they would send out my passport with the visa in it. They received the medical report that afternoon, CEAC status showed Administrative Processing 27/01/2022, the Issued 28/01/2022.

Embassy Review : I had my interview at the London Embassy on 26/01/2022. We arrived to the Embassy about 45minutes before my appt (11:30am), so went to get a drink and kill time at The Alchemist directly opposite. Around 15 minutes before my appt time we walked over and checked it. It was a little confusing where it go at first, you have to check in at a window off to the side and show your appt confirmation letter, then go through airport style security before going through to the main building. Once in the main reception, I was given a sticker with a number on it, and told to go to the first floor and take a left then left again and take a seat in front of windows 20-21. After about a minute, I was called up to the first window, where a very friendly man asked for one passport photo, my passport, and my original birth certificate, marriage certificate and police certificate, then they took digital fingerprints. He did asked when I was planning on entering the states, but I think this was more general conversation. He also asked whether I had my medical yet, which I had about a week previous, but the embassy hadn’t received the results yet - the man said he expected that they would come in that afternoon. I was then given a piece of paper which explained my rights as a spouse of a US resident once I enter the states and was asked to take a seat again. Around 10 minutes later, my number was called to go to the second window, where a friendly woman asked me to swear to tell the truth, then asked me 4 straight forward questions (how did you meet your husband, where was he born, when did you last see each other, and when is he planning on going back to the states) then she said that everything was approved, and they would send out my passport with my visa in it once they received my medical. I was given a green piece of paper as it was technically a 221g refusal as they didn’t yet have my medical. The next day when I checked the CEAC status, it had already changed to Administrative Processing which I assumed meant they had received my medical that afternoon as they expected, then it changed to Issued this morning (28/01/22 - two days after my interview).

The whole experience was a lot more relaxed and laid back than I expected, and everyone was very friendly. The time from going through security to walking out was less than 20 minutes total.
Rating : Very Good

DQ date is on there already - 15th February 2021. It’s listed as “case complete at NVC” rather than DQ (:

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
