Consulate Review: Mumbai, India
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 17, 2021
Embassy Review : Overall good experience.
Officer only asked few questions but kept on drilling and digging on 2 questions in different way to get different answer.
1. Who is calling you?
2. What does she do for living?
3. Who lives in the house?
4. How did you meet?
5. We have a age gap of 4 to 5 years so officer drilled on that?
6. Was asked about wife's first marriage and her daughter and asked leading questions related to daughter's future? (take a proof of previous marriage)
7. Asked about our similarities, hobbies, etc?
8. Asked about our future plans. Give them some concrete ideas of what your plans are.
9. Asked how many times we faught, and what we talk about.
Officer asked to see proof of previous marriage end, original pcc, birth certificate, copies of our chats. Didn't ask to see photo albums, call logs, or any other documents.

Stay calm and be confident with your answers.
Got approved!!!

Good luck to everyone!!!!!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
