2021-03-03 (Notification that Case is being "Actively Reviewed")
Receipt of payment for the AOS happened within 3 days however receipt of payment for the IV took 8 days.
Completed the AOS and IV documentation immediately - we delayed submission of AOS and IV until 31 July 2021 so that our migration to the USA is after our 2 year anniversary and we can go directly onto an IR-1 VISA.
Interview was originally scheduled for 01/21/2022 but was rescheduled (without a reason) to 02/16/2022. |
Processing Estimates/Stats : |
Your I-130 was approved in 59 days from your NOA1 date.
Your interview took 408 days from your I-130 NOA1 date. |

So I had my Green Card Interview today. What an awesome day for me and my wife.
As information to everyone in this group - My interview was scheduled for 8:30am. I turned up 15 minutes before my interview time and was asked to come back at 8:30am.
Clearing security was straight forward and we were taken upstairs. Within 5 minutes we were called up to provide all original documentation. After that we grabbed a seat and waited to be called for interview. It only took 15 minutes to get clear security and provide required documentation.
We waited around 20 minutes before being called for our interview. The interviewer asked the following questions:
1 - How did you both meet
2 - Where did you meet
3 - Where was your partner born
4 - Have you ever lived in the USA
5 - What is the longest time you have stayed in the USA
6 - Have you ever overstayed a visa or been deported
7 - Have you ever been convicted of a criminal offence
8 - What does your partner do for a job
9 - What do you do for a job and are you planning on working in the USA
In any case… questions were straight forward.. Interviewer was friendly and when he said the Visa has been approved we were so infinitely elated.
Within an hour the I checked my application status and it had changed to “Administrative Processingâ€.
So.. thankyou to everyone for the advice provided through this group. We are so happy to report that we have been accepted and are just waiting on my passport and documentation to be returned.
Good Luck everyone who is still waiting. |

Timeline Comments: 5Talk about crazy fast, we have been waiting for over 5 months... Happy for you two, but man, it's so unfair.
W O W!! Congrats on a great process to approval!!!
What an excellent and strategic move in terms of the IR visa!
Cheering for you from the sidelines🙂
I hope your husband’s interview is not too much longer nowðŸ™ðŸ¿

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
