hello,
I stay in Dublin can you please let me know what the next full step is
thanks

Hi there Rhines! After getting NOA2 approval you have to call NVC for the case number. When you get the case number, track the status in ceac and wait for the embassy email that they have received the petition.

Okay thanks
If you don’t mind I will be asking questions in the future please

Sure, ask away. I haven't done my medical yet since the earliest date they had when I called was on June 9th. I'm calling every now and then though to see if there are any cancellations. Do you have your case number yet? If so, then book the medical, call Mater Private 018858850. They'll only ask for your case number. The last time I called, the latest date they have is on the third week of June.

I don’t have my case number yet, I just want to be sure I don’t miss a step. I’m still new at this and I have called the nvc and they said I’m not in the system yet.. so wil call again next week..
thank you for the medical number ..
Have you been given an interview date yet??
Strwbrysky on 2022-04-27 said:
Me too I’m new and all I did was just read here in VJ but apparently the process is different and unique to every embassy. In our case, our embassy books us for an interview as soon as we finish our medical and have the results on hand, after we submit the Notice of Readiness. This is included in the email from the embassy which basically are just instructions on how to proceed. I’m still waiting on that now.
Strwbrysky on 2022-04-27 said:
Yes call them every week, that’s what my fiancé did. It must be early morning so to not be on hold for long. NVC sends our petitions every other Tuesdays, so keep an eye on that as well.

Hello
Is private mater the only Dublin hospital that conducts embassy medical? We want to have other options
Strwbrysky on 2022-05-17 said:
If only we have other options but I’m afraid only Mater does them that’s why it’s packed up. :( Did you booked your medical?
Rhines on 2022-05-24 said:
So i finally received my case number through email and it tells me its in transit and interview date was provided by nvc but i never received any interview date yet
is this common?
Also, can you do the police clearance online or through post/mail
Strwbrysky on 2022-05-24 said:
Great! You have to wait for the embassy's email containing the instructions. But while waiting book your medical now because the waiting time is long. The police clearance I went to my town's garda station and requested for it, paper, not online. But it actually depends where you're living.
Rhines on 2022-05-25 said:
They are really fully booked in the hospital finally booked for August..
What type of documents are needed for the garda clearance
Rhines on 2022-05-25 said:
Do you have the visa interview letter??
Rhines on 2022-05-25 said:
Do you know where I can get the invoice number because the nvc has suspended all calls and I need it to log in
Strwbrysky on 2022-05-25 said:
Yes they are really packed. But keep on calling them and see if there are any cancellations.
For garda, I only went to my garda station and ask for the request form for police certificate and they gave it to me. I filled it out then submitted it. In about three weeks, they called me that my police cert is ready for collection. I am not sure if that works the same with you. I know that in Dublin, they an request it online.
I don't have the interview letter yet, I think they will only send that once we submit the Notice of Readiness.
I'm sorry I have no invoice number and I did not log in to any account.

Hi
So the consulate finally received our petition and it’s ready. We received the invitation letter after calling them. Do you know what the next steps are. Also what documents we need to fill or get ready as we wait for the medical. Did you get any new vaccinations or used your old ones? If you got new ones which ones did you get.
Any advice will be appreciated.. thank you for all your help 😇

Also what does packet 3 mean??
Will the beneficiary receive a post in the mail with papers/documents or is the packet 3 the invitation email that was sent
Strwbrysky on 2022-06-01 said:
Good news! So for the vaccinations, as per the Mater's email, we are required these vaccinations: Tetanus, MMR, BCG, Hepa B, Varicella. I had my blood tests done last January because I wasn't sure if I had them all and it turns out I lacked immunity for Measles and TDAP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Polio) so I had myself vaccinated. Much better if you had bloods done prior to check your immunity so you know which ones you should be vaccinated for because Mater don't offer vaccinations during the medical. I went to Travel Health Clinic for my vaccinations, this is their number +35316334977 (Disclaimer: they are not affiliated, I just searched them online since they provide travel vaccinations). For the vaccinations I had when I was younger, I had a certificate signed by my GP for proof of vaccinations. With regards to the packet 3, I think this was the pdf email we received from the embassy.

Thank you
I don’t know if I’ve asked this before but do you have the invoice number or can you log into the CEAC.. I heard that’s where we submit some files
Strwbrysky on 2022-06-01 said:
Oh sorry.. I don't think K1s need to submit anything? All needed documents are to be brought during interview. I think I read somewhere that the CR1/IR1 submit documents online. I don't have invoice number they didn't give us. I only use my case no. to check status in ceac.
Rhines on 2022-06-02 said:
Have you filled any forms yet like the ds-160 or ds-260
Or are you waiting for ok from the consulate first
Strwbrysky on 2022-06-02 said:
I submitted my ds160 already and have printed the confirmation page. I spoke to someone as well and he said once the embassy schedule us for an interview they will also send us links to where we should pay for the MRV fees and whatnot. How about you though? Have you sorted out your police certs and other documents?
Rhines on 2022-06-03 said:
No we don’t have the police certificate yet
We are doing that next week
We have other documents
Does any of the documents have to bear a wet signature ( like do I have to sign it officially and not photocopy or scanned)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
