I wish I can know where Form I-130 Petition for Alien filed online with respect to IR2 (Step Son of a US citizen) are treated? I was thinking it will be in Nebraska since that is the place written on the Receipt Notice sent to me the same day I filed but when I called the USCIS I was told it’s Texas and the last time I called I was told it’s Potomac Service Center. Pls how can I know the exact place where my petition is being treated?

My I-130 petition has been approved. This is quiet unusual when Potomac service center is still treating those applications submitted in December 2019.

Congratulations son

Congratulations

Thanks so much. Though still haven’t paid all fees. That is all I am waiting for at the moment.

Submitted DS-260 and Petitioner’s AOS/Civil Documents on 2021-05-18. Now waiting for the Approval of request to add a joint sponsor.

Do they have to approve you to add a joint sponsor and how long does it take

Yes they will approve you to add a joint sponsor. Just add your principal sponsor financial documents and after about 4-7 days day will say the document isn’t sufficient and you will add the joint sponsor.

Ohh okay thanks I trust you are in the USA already right and after submitting all necessary documents and payments for the nvc the interview would be sheduled straight or we have to wait for them to shedule (IR2 visa )

Are you there ??

Hi please I’ve not gotten any responses from you I’ll be glad if you could reply me thanks

Hi I wanted to ask you if you already gotten a interview date or interview letter cause I been hearing that it takes a year or more for interview letter

I have been documentarily qualified since June 10, 2021 and still waiting for interview letter

Hopefully you’ll get interview letter soon Lagos embassy is currently issuing interview letter to those that were documentarily qualified on December 2020 so hopefully you’ll get interview letter on September or November this year why don’t you try expediting??
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
