I had an interview last week and passed the test. I requested name change, but I do not know if my name change request will delay my oath ceremony date. I am thinking about cancel my name change request

I believe it will delay it a bit. But I suggest just waiting for your oath notice. It took around a month so get my notice.

Thank you. Did you immigration officer tell you how long you have to wait if you want to request name change ? My officer was the worst one in the office and treated me like a criminal and did not answer my question about timeline for ceremony date?
