Event Description

Embassy Review : As several have said, at least for CDMX there was not a lot of time between the email from the consulate with instructions etc. (P3) and the actual interview. You get two appointments - drop-off of paperwork and then the actual interview. Consulate does not recommend moving your appointment, full stop - even if you cannot get everything outlined in the P3. We got everything we needed before the interview and dropped off the day before. The person who greeted my s/o during the drop-off and checked all paperwork was very kind he said and helpful, made sure we had everything we needed for the actual interview the next day. Next day, spent more time waiting for the interview than actual interview - that took about 10 minutes itself. Few questions on how we met, how often we saw each other, etc. Approved with no issues - took almost the 10 days they said it would for local DHL to get the visa to us.

POE Review: Miami
Event Description
Entry Date : 2021-08-29
Embassy Review : Arrived by plane from Mexico City before noon and was out by 12:30 at the latest. I had flown down to bring s/o back since he was not used to connecting flights nor US airports. We both decided to wait in non-US line so we could remain together. They took his passport and K1 sealed package, scanned my passport and took our pictures, then we were escorted to the interview room. Waiting room was moderately crowded but there were many agents behind the desks. Waiting about 10 minutes then he got called up. While both the agent and my s/o were bilingual, they stuck to Spanish which I knew would be easier for him. He was asked what address he would be staying at, did he know he needed to marry in 90 days, etc. entered some information on the computer and then went to the printer and attached the I-94 to his passport and we were on our way.
Harassment Level : Low

Embassy Review : Appointment in the morning, easy time getting in through security, check-in and interview with the officer. They did me (USC) first then husband each lasted about 20 minutes. No issues no follow-up and no additional items due from us. Officer was very kind, compassionate and understanding with each of us and informed us of process and expected next steps and timeline.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
