We received the physical EAD card in the mail 7/7/22

Thanks Jeff. It seems like Chicago office is processing applications faster. We had applied for EAD on Feb 3, 2022 and we are yet to hear anything from them. Our processing is done by California service center

Hello, congrats on your rather quick EAD, AP timelines. Can you please share more details on how your expedited your AP? Reads like you tried several routes, and eventually successful through ombudsman - was this because the earlier attempts didn't work. And what kind of evidence did you submit for the AP acceleration? Thank you!

I just emailed them asking for status update on my case. Phone call no longer works since the system wouldn’t put you through to a real talking person.
I tried Ombudsman, but they refuse to do anything since the case was technically under “normal processing time window “

We had a reason to request the case to be expedited - due to the delay processing our I-129F we opened a company overseas to generate income. I also wrote to my Congressmen and provided evidence of money I invested overseas instead of investing in America because of this terrible immigration system. After that we got de AP and EAD fast and 4 months later we got the green card - interview was waived
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
