Hello Sahra, have you guys heard anything from NVC or passed to the embassy? You seem to be on a similar time line to us. Thank!

Hello again, hopefully you guys aren’t far off getting DQ’d now. Have you seen much giving an idea on how long after DQ you might be attending an interview at the embassy? When are you guys hoping for an interview if you do get DQ’d in feb?

hi! we’re hoping to be dqed in late Feb and get an interview date sometime in March! It looks like London embassy is moving pretty fast :) Most people are receiving their interview date within 3 weeks of dq date and the interview is usually within 2 weeks.

That’s great thank you, we are also hoping for similar time scales. Im really hoping there’s a change we can get dq’d towards the end of feb maybe. Fingers crossed anyway!

Congratulation on getting DQ’d and an interview date set. Have you been able to get a medical appointment in a reasonable time frame?
Sahra_ss on 2022-03-13 said:
hi! yes! we scheduled our medical as soon as we were DQ. You don’t need an interview date to schedule the medical, you only need an interview by the time you attend the medical. We got extra lucky and they had a cancellation for an early medical. my husband completed his medical a little over a week ago and has his interview in 2 weeks! if you’re having trouble getting a medical before ur interview, i recommend calling often to see if they received any cancellations! good luck!

That’s great! We’ll be calling every single day until we get one haha. Good luck for the interview I hope it all goes well!

Hey guys how did the interview go? I hope it went well? Did the location of your case change from ‘NVC’ when you got your welcome email from the embassy or before?
Sahra_ss on 2022-04-01 said:
sorry we weren’t really tracking the case status so wouldn’t be able to say! but interview was really easy and straight forward. my husband received his visa in hand yesterday!

That’s great news, we have been DQ’d just waiting on the embassy now. I’d hoped we would have our appointment date by now. Sorry one last question, did you receive your embassy email during U.K. working hours or just a random time. I’m trying to work out if hope is lost till Monday again haha. Congratulations again!

It’ll be UK business hours! We received our interview date one week after being DQ!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
