Hi dear, my NOA2 is February 5 but NVC has not received my case yet, I see yours took 7 months, any recommendations?

My beneficiary doesn’t live in Pakistan, can he still being interviewed in Pakistan?

Hi Mohadesa, sorry I just saw your comments. In 2021, they were not willing to change the interview location from Afghanistan to Pakistan without various proof of residence. But in February 2022 they sent the case to Pakistan after I requested it again. So your best bet is to contact NVC directly via the public inquiry form: https://nvc.state.gov/inquiry Be aware that sometimes the reply is within a few days but sometimes it can take more than a month as well.

Thank you so much for the reply! I’ve heard they deny cases recently from Afghanistan is this true?

We haven't had any apparent issues with the U.S. Embassy itself. The hardest part was obtaining a visa for my fiancee, it took many months. They may not ask about the visa in the interview but they check to make sure its valid and not expired at the airport when you are trying to leave.

Thank you for the information. We have the same issue of obtaining a visa, NVC asked us for a visa and entry stamp before they transfer the case to Pakistan. And how long would it be taking after entering Pakistan until to be interviewed?
blank avatar Potato350z on 2022-10-29 said:
Request the NVC to move the case again, maybe they will do it now and at least that process will start. I'm not sure how/why they moved it for me after initially requesting the evidence. The U.S. Embassy usually has appointments 1-2 months out and Aziz Medical Center in Islamabad is the same.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
