Event Description
Review Date : January 25, 2021
Embassy Review : We had a case for marriage-based AOS. We were able to park about 5-10 minutes away at a parking lot and walk to the office. They directed us towards the waiting area after going through the security. Their pandemic response was good: everyone was wearing masks, and they took took our temperatures and asked us to put on hand sanitizer before entering the interview. We only had to wait about 15 minutes after the scheduled time for the interview.

The officer was very nice and in no way hostile. They simply asked us to hand over any additional documents, and asked some simple questions about any travels we did together, how we spent our holidays, and any shared finances. The interview took about 30 minutes. I would recommend bringing copies of all documents you submitted with your application, the officer had trouble finding some of the supporting evidence we had submitted and it was useful to have another copy.
Harassment Level : Very Good
