Successful interview! We are now just awaiting the processing of the police certificate, which will take another two weeks (our interview date came earlier than possible for us to get all the way to Bangkok for my fiance to apply for the certificate, so there is a delay)-- but the interviewer told us that two days after he brings in the certificate, he'll be issued his visa.

Consulate Review: Bangkok, Thailand
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 3, 2008
Embassy Review : I meant to say the visa was ready on a wednesday, not thursday -- that's their standard procedure for bringing in documents after the interview -- you usually bring them in on a non-holiday Monday, and the visa is ready by that Wednesday.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: San Francisco
Event Description
Entry Date : 2008-01-18
Embassy Review : It was fast & easy. They were herding people to different lines because so many people were coming through. We got an immigration officer who was really nice & friendly. He asked someone in a booth next to his if he was supposed to be doing K-1 visas there, & they said yeah. He opened the packet we gave him in front of us and looked at some of our photos -- I didn't realize our entire file was in there. He asked where we were in some of the photos (Koh Samui), and said it looked like we were having a nice time. He also said he'd visited Thailand before and really liked it. He mentioned something about when I was due (I'm pregnant and was just beginning to show at that point.) Then I asked him if he could give my fiance a work stamp. He rummaged through a box on his counter and found one, telling us we were lucky we got him, cause he was "probably one of the only officers" who still had that stamp, since he's been there so long. And then he wished my fiance "good luck" and we were on our way.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
