I went to US Embassy Manila at 6:30am. My interview was at 7:30am schedule. They let us in right away. I left my celphone in the hotel. You cannot bring celphone inside the embassy. But there are people outside of the embassy that will hold your phone for Php200, thats what my friend did. Went online inside, not a lot of people. Check for papers. They put sticker in your confirmation appointment and passport. Went online again for pre-interview. They arranged my documents with AOS. I brought a lot of documents, pictures, domicile evidence, conversation copy, consul didn't ask for it, nada, not even one. Interview went like this:
Who is your petitioner?
What's his name?
Where did you meet?
What website?
When did you start talking?
When did you start to become bf-gf?
When did you get married?
How many times he visited?
What is his work?
Where was your husband born?
When did he go to US?
How many times he got married?
Why did he divorce the first time?
What irreconcilable diff?
Do you have kids?
Does your husband have another W-2 2020?
Who is your joint sponsor?
Why did he agree to support you?
Does he know you? Did you talk?
Have you been outside of the Phil?
What did you do there?
So you speak spanish? (Consul started speaking Spanish)
Do you have police report from where you lived?
I think he scanned the police report. When he came back he said well, i will recommend your visa for approval. Wait 2-4 weeks for the delivery. Get a piece of that paper. You register your delivery adress I believe, right?
Today they emailed me saying they sent my passport with visa and packet to 2go.
Officer was very nice. Very young consul, Caucasian male. Only 3 consul are doing the interview, but a lot of Filipinos doing the pre-interview.
Please bring every documents they asked in the list. Cenomar or Advisory on Marriage is in the list, and should be uploaded in CEAC.
One lady didnt get her visa issued that day coz she changed her name already, and she didn't get NBI for the previous name, consul asked her for that. |

Is the petitioner us citizen or green card holder?

May I ask if you expedited with NVC for the interview date or is your case following normal processing?
Miely on 2021-07-17 said: Hi. No we didn't expedite. Its normal processing. I just received the email of schedule for Interview today 😀.
That's awesome. I've been trying to find comparable timeframes but lately it seems like EVERYONE is expedited. Maybe the queue of expedited cases is so many by now that its a shorter queue being non-expedited. 🤣 Good luck with your interview and congratulations.
Miely on 2021-07-18 said: Thank you. US Embassy Manila just open again the immigrant and non-immigrant visa interview just this July 15th.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
