Very nerve wracking. Hopefully you won't have to wait forever for an interview

That is my prayer yes

Congrats on your approval! What a relief, right?
Julie And Jose on 2021-04-28 said:
Yes. Omg. That wait was so so long and hard. From what I see on here it should be fast from here. 8 weeks hopefully. Time to shave my legs. Lol. We haven’t seen each other in over a year because of Covid. So 8 weeks won’t be too bad. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter

Omg. A year??? As soon as DR opened up in July I was there🤣

Hey Julie we finally received our Noa2 and I have a few questions I was hoping you could answer.
1) did you find out your nvc date by contacting nvc or did they send you something?
2) does your fiance know where to get his birth certificate translated?
Srilankanmafia on 2021-06-12 said:
You can call the NVC (603) 334-0888 after 4-6 weeks, they’ll give you the number over the phone.
You can have anyone who is bilingual translate it. They just need to sign a certificate!
I used this one: https://immigrantjustice.org/sites/default/files/Appendix%20J%20-%20Certificates%20of%20Translation%20for%20Foreign%20Affidavits%20and%20Documents.pdf
Julie And Jose on 2021-06-12 said:
I called NVC. They will only contact you when the case is sent to the embassy. That is what the lady said when I called. I’m not sure if the birth certificates need to be translated. Some say yes and some say no. I wouldn’t think it would be too difficult to find one tho. I’m going to wait to see if it’s really necessary. I can give you my number if you want to chat.
Mmd82 on 2021-06-12 said:
Ok good to know. Has yours been sent to the embassy yet? I'm hoping the embassy in Santo domingo is not too behind. I've been looking at profiles and it appears interviews were almost 2 months out after embassy received the info. Yes we can absolutely exchange info 😊
Mmd82 on 2021-06-12 said:
@shrilankanmafia thanks I'll try that.

Wow, congratulations! You process has been extremely fast, hasn't it? Is that common?
Julie And Jose on 2022-03-22 said:
Thank you. Yes we got the EAD fast. Still waiting for the interview date. Hopefully the interview will be fast as well.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
