Are K1 visas being processed at all in NBO?
Kevohw on 2021-01-18 said:
Yes. I've seen a number of applicants whose March 2020 interviews have been rescheduled to Dec 2020 n Jan 2021 n some already got VISAs. NVC still not sending new applications to Consulate. Maybe email them n inform them that embassy is processing K1s.

I tried to expedite K1 visa but the NVC response was this “ Good day,
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, suspended routine visa services. The National Visa Center will not forward K1visa petitions to Nairobi until they resume routine visa services. The U.S. Embassy will resume visa services as soon as possible, but they cannot provide a specific date. For the most up-to-date information about the U.S. Embassy operating status, please visit their website at https://usembassy.gov.â€

Told me the same thing 3 months ago. Guess we just have to wait till consular in Nairobi clears their backlog.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
