Congrats! Could you please share how you managed to schedule the interview? It is the last step for us and I feel so frustrated because there are never available dates when I check the website. They have already frozen my profile twice because I check too often. Could you tell me at least at what time you managed to schedule the interview? Thanks a lot!

I am sorry I just saw this. We got lucky and found one day that was available. We found out they were scheduling by happenstance in a facebook group. My fiance, now wife is in the USA now and we are working on AOS.
Again, my apologies I did not see this message.

Hello, I’m just running across your profile. I am also around New Orleans area. Have you received work visa yet? How long after biometrics did you receive it if so?
We did get a work and travel visa. We did biometrics in May 2021. Got the work and travel approval and card in December. 2021.

Oh ok. Thank you. We filed in March and just got biometrics appointment scheduled for this Wednesday. This has been a stressful time. Hopefully work and travel visa comes soon after appointment.

If like us, you are based on a I485. The current processing time is from January for inquiry date. I would expect March. The limitations on travel is a big deal for us in that we could not visit sick family. I cannot imagine if someone needs to earn money. They operate on their own timeline. Good luck. We will be in New Orleans tomorrow for a flight.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
