Received CA 4/07/2011 Signed for by V. Semegi. Appt. for biometrics received 4/18/2011 US Mail. Appt. date 5/12/2011 in Cincinnati OH.Bios are completed. Card production ordered 06/23/2011. Posted on USCIS website and e-mail received saying production of card ordered 06/23/2011. Allow 30 days to receive card. No RFE,no interview and no passport stamp. Citizenship next April...YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We received the green card 06/29/2011. It has an error on it unfortunately and it has be returned to USCIS along with form I-90 and accompanying documents. All I can say is look at your card very carefully. This is just another bunch of paperwork and fees if it is decided to be your fault and not USCIS's fault. Received NOA for I-90 7/7/2011. The fault was USCIS and there is no fee charged and reprocessing of errored green card was started. We received NOA to return for more biometrics and photos on 08/04/2011. We went again, no charge of course since it is their fault, and they extended his conditional another six months until they can replace the ten year card. We will apply for Citizenship in April 2012. We just hope this does not get to be a problem then but they already granted the petition so it should not be a problem. Received corrected permanent Green Card the first part of Oct. 2011. April 2012 we will file for naturalization. We will keep you posted. New Green Card received 10/01/2011. All corrections made and no charge to us since it was their fault. |

N-400 received at 10:30 A.M. 4/4/2012 by FexEx Overnight. It was signed for by E. Arndt. We received NOA 1 today. Now we wait for biometrics date. Biometrics done on 5/2/2012 and went smoothly. He was given some information for the test and also a CD with the possible questions and answers on it. Waiting for Interview date now. As of July 2,2012 we are in the queue for interview and testing. Update: as of 07/06/2012 status was upgraded to scheduled for interview with information as to time of interview to follow within 14 days or if not received to call a provided 800 number. We now await the formal letter. The Cincinnati office is running on or ahead of the five month schedule for USCIS. Interview date is 08/07/2012. They ask for a lot of documentation they already have and they want originals. Also be prepared to present IRS transcripts, the easiest, or copies of all your returns for the last three years. the transcripts are free and can be ordered online at IRS.gov or by phone on their website. It will take 5 to 10 days to get these transcripts. We went for the interview today and it went smooth and timely and the officer was very friendly. Then at the end she said congratulations and handed me a paper saying I was appproved and would be contacted for the oath ceremony by mail. We have finished our journey and we wish the best of luck to everyone else and may your journey go as smoothly as ours did. Hamdullah and God bless...... |

Embassy Review : |
American Embassy was on time for interview. Abdu very nicely treated by his interviewer. The interview lasted about 20 minutes. It was done partly in Arabic and partly in English. He said his interviewer was very nice lady. Then it was over and she told him congratulations he should receive the visa in 7 to 10 business days. Many prayers from the Christians here and the Muslims in Egypt made this visa possible. Thank God and allah akbar. May everyone else have success. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
