Congratulations 🎊
How did it go? 😊
I'm scheduled this October 3rd.
Did they asked you some vocabulary meaning?
Thanks and Congrats again.

It was wonderful! The officer wasn’t mean or nice during the interview. Just kind of dry and straightforward. We started with the civics/government/history questions first. No vocabulary. Then we went over my application. My file is pretty easy because I’ve never been arrested, never left the country so I had no entries to remember the dates. She did ask me about my divorce. She asked me who filed for divorce (me), why I filed for divorce (my wife changed her mind about having kids). Then she showed me a slip saying I was recommended for approval and to look for a notice for the ceremony date within 6 weeks. It took me a minute to process that I had been approved, I had to ask her to make sure I understood her. She said yes I was approved and I started crying in front of her, lol. After that she was much warmer, congratulated me and complimented my outfit, lol.
Good luck with your interview! Please follow up and let me know how it goes! You’ll do great!

Thank you 😊
Do you have any Idea how long would it take for your Oath taking?
Congratulations again ðŸ™ðŸ»

The officer said within 6 weeks. But looking at the timeline spreadsheet, I organized it by my field office. And it looks like the oath is anywhere from 2 - 4 weeks.

Congratulations! Can you confirm if you received the letter for oath taking ceremony ?

@Crb08 Unfortunately, not yet. Which is a bummer since I’m leaving for Europe in 2 weeks. I really did not want to go in the looooong non US citizen line when I re-enter the country.
