Hi Ank, I am also preparing the documents for the interview in Singapore. Just a couple of questions on the I-134 affidavit of support, really appreciate your help. Does the US partner have to fill it up and the immigrating partner will bring this to the interview together with supporting evidence? or you have to submit an application for the I-134 via the USCIS website? Do you think there is an option for the immigrating partner to show evidence of self-support? Thanks in advance.

Hi, apologies for the delayed reply.
The US partner must fill the I-134, you are correct!
I do not know about self-support, I suspect that is not allowed since you must have a sponsor if the US partner does not meet the minimum income requirements.

Hi Ank, a few questions on documents for interview and visa processing in SG. (1) For evidence of financial support, is most recent W2 sufficient (company employee)? (2) What type of evidence was brought to support relationship, is this different from what was originally submitted with 129F petition? In your experience, how long did it take for visa issuance/passport collection from date of interview? Many thanks.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
