Congratulations!! How do you request the expedite? My wife is in the Philippines in Cebu City. We were married on 08/27/19. I filed the I-130 on 01/08/20 and we filed the I-864 Affidavit of Support and her DS-261 Visa Application on 08/24/20 and haven’t heard anything. I don’t understand why we’ve taken 13 months so far and yours was completed in 5 1/2 months.

Hi if you are currently at the NVC you can send your expedite request nvcexpedite@state.gov it will take 2-3 weeks to get approved. When your case changed to READY you can proceed to do the medical at st.lukes then expedite for interview at ivmanilareplies@state.gov just attach the medical result, it took me 1wk to get my schedule date. Usually they approved any reasons for expedite as long you are CR1/IR1. Good luck ☺️

Saint Luke’s is in Manila? It was suggested to us, since we are coming from Cebu, to go to Manila for the physical a few days ahead of the interview that way we don’t have to make two trips. Is that still possible? Did you have to take your spouses affidavit of support to the interview with you? My wife doesn’t have a copy of my affidavit of support. I want to go to the interview with her, but I don’t know with all these Covid restrictions if I’m going to be able to get back there or not in time.

Yes in manila. As long as your case is READY at CEAC you can try to send expedite at NVC, just explain about your spouse’ situation. And yes I bring all my documents at the interview, she can print the scanned copy of your documents, except for divorce papers should be original (if any). All her civil documents must be original.

Hello, our case says “documentarily qualified” is the the same as “ready status”? Where should i request for expedite processing at this point? Should i email nvc or usem manila? Thank you in advance!

Hi! You can track your status in CEAC when you log in to ur account upper right side. If your case status says NVC then you can expedite nvcexpedite@state.gov and DQ only means your documents got accepted.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
