Did you get to go ahead with the interview or was it cancelled? I hope this lockdown ends sooner rather than later

Interview was cancelled, we got notified on Wednesday. Ya I'm hoping for the same, waiting long enough. Sounds like the embassy will reschedule once the restrictions are lifted thou.

Considering they have everything set up in their offices for covid and they’re a government agency, I don’t see why they can’t continue with interviews. So frustrating. Let’s hope it only lasts 4 weeks and interview dates start rolling in

I know ya very frustrating considering how close we've come. Let's hope our own government will ease the restrictions after the four weeks if we see a marked improvement.

Congrats on approval! What was your interview experience like, if you don't mind me asking?
Hooley8 on 2020-12-06 said:
Straight forward, staff at the embassy were friendly and the interview felt more like a quick chat. Standard Q's spouses occupation, how ye met etc.
In and out in about an hour.

Many thanks friend :) Welcome to the US!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
