Good luck on your upcoming interview! Did you contact the embassy after your petition left NVC or did they just mail your packet right away? :) My fiance and I currently waiting for his packet to arrive so just wondering!

We never got a packet. Just an email stating that our k1 was being sent to Kyiv and then after 2-3 days I kept logging into ceac website and saw status change to Ready. My fiancé created her ustraveldocs account and we immediately filled out the ds160 and paid I think even before it was ready status. Never got any other notifications from the embassy. I emailed updated desire to marry letters and that’s been the only communication we’ve had with the embassy.
It should move pretty quick once it’s sent off to Kyiv. It’s very nerve wracking since you’re waiting and hoping for contact by them but you have to be proactive. We kept checking and were lucky to get first interview date available in this batch in October. Hopefully everything stays open for all of us!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
