Hey! Congrats on your interview and your approval! I’m waiting for my interview now at Cincinnati AOS as well. I wanted to ask you when did you receive the notification for your interview date? Thanks

Hi Sarah200, Thank you I heard about my interview date on September 29th, almost a month and a half before the interview. Let me know if you need any more information.

That’s great! Thank you for responding. My case still says USCIS is actively reviewing your case. It doesn’t even say Ready for interview yet, did you have the same experience ?

From Filing in December 2020 till July 2021 I had no update. Hear from them about biometrics mid-July, then biometrics was on August 5, August 6 online system changed to ready to schedule for interview, then complete silence till mid-September, when I heard about my EAD approval again, went silent till September 29, 2021, when they said interview scheduled. I used the chat in ask emma to get the time and date. The official letter came on October 11. Interview was November 19, the same day the status changed to the card being produced. Yesterday, the system updated to show i485 and i130 were approved.

The pandemic impacted the whole process. At least you got the EAD card before. I’m happy for you! It is a frustrating journey ! Hopefully I hear something soon

Hey Shib did you get my inbox ?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
